As my research paper focuses on representations in the film industry, seeing how people use the social media site Twitter to express their opinions on film is incredibly unique. It gives you a close look into the mind of the consumer, from a variety of different backgrounds. Here are three different examples of tweets, that comment on the film industry - direct from the consumer.
Within just these few tweets, you are able to see the way film is talked about on social media. From seeing news stories about newly broken records, or even seeing the average person create their own plot for a film with a simple picture, it creates a conversation and evens the playing field.
